I passed by last night and there was only one small section of Shea still standing. I figure they either tore the last of it down today, or it will be completely torn down very likely sometime this week. RIP Shea.
Shea is all gone now. Let's see if Citi Field, cracks, rust, and bulges, lasts for 44 years.The Roman Collisseum still stands after 2,000 years.
Maybe we could put up a plaque to commemorate all the taxpayer's money buried there.
Good bye Shea Stadium, I will never forget you.
