...St. Ann's is floating out in some sort of purgatory, with the immediate area behind the church's door (permanently?) gated off. We've had a lot to say about this project over the years, but still: Is this the building boom's worst?

Well, if this is in HDC's neighborhood, they should be abel to do a lot for mine....
It's up there with the worst, but in Old Astoria we have housing built over St. George's cemetery. I'm sure the descendants of the deceased are not happy about it.

Just like the New York State Dormitory Authority's idea of "preserving" the OFFICIALLY LANDMARKED St. Monica's Church in Jamaica!
Maybe you can bring up the subject at one of HDC's (hee, hee, hee)
