If you were to actually study social movements, you would know that U.S. citizens are the ones who lack a protest ethic. People around the world protest (anything). If the French/Italian government raises the metro fare - people strike, riot, set buses/trains on fire (this actually works). U.S. citizens are the passive ones - remember, the United States is a capitalistic protestant society and it creeps down to citizens. U.S. citizens are individualistic compared to "Latino" immigrants. U.S. citizens are spoiled and do not care until they are personally affected. U.S. citizens are very docile and obedient. Good for the hospital workers. At least they want to do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. We will miss them when we are expiring unseen and unattended during the eight hour long waits in the emergency ward.

The NYU Students were protesting against Israel at a university run by Jewish Administrators.
You cant protest or report anything anti Isreal or anti immigrint in NY.
The Mayor and his friends are relieing on both those groups and their children to keep them in office forever.
At this point all they need to do is get rid off the pesty hard to control middle class
1-You get called racist and can never get media coverage.
2-Mayor and his lapdog Kelly will send the cops with nightsticks, tazers and gas.
If anything is reported the newspapers will never give up the identity or the address !
Saw the NY1 coverage of Saturday's march from SJQ to MIH and noticed Chris Mastromano was nowhere to be seen. In the military this would be called desertion, but then again treason is a crime as well.
1199 picked up some of the homeless to march, gave them lunch, a shirt and hat. One guy next to me smelled like he did not bathe in months.
So where was the 'community'?
MIA as ususal.
