YES, AND WHERE WAS THE COMMUNITY?

NOWHERE.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE AN IMMIGRANT COMMUNITY.

UNLESS THERE ARE POLITICAL WANNABEES ENCOURGAGED TO LASSO THEIR COMMUNITY INTO THE CLUBHOUSE ORBIT, THERE IS NOTHING.

THESE COMMUNITIES ARE DEAD ZONES.

Immigrant community has nothing to do with this you racist asshole. I suppose you are referring to "Latino" immigrants... well, buddy, Latin Americans have a rich history of participating in social movements in their countries. If you were to actually study social movements, you would know that U.S. citizens are the ones who lack a protest ethic. People around the world protest (anything). If the French/Italian government raises the metro fare - people strike, riot, set buses/trains on fire (this actually works). U.S. citizens are the passive ones - remember, the United States is a capitalistic protestant society and it creeps down to citizens. U.S. citizens are individualistic compared to "Latino" immigrants. U.S. citizens are spoiled and do not care until they are personally affected. U.S. citizens are very docile and obedient. "LISTEN TO YOUR GOVERNMENT! OBEY THE POLICE! THEY ARE HERE TO HELP YOU! OBEY THE WHITE HOUSE! SILLY PEOPLE - TIME TO STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!

Therein lies the problem, they are here illegally, and therefore don't consider this their country. When locusts destroy one field, they move on to the next fertile ground.

"When locusts destroy one field, they move on to the next fertile ground."

I think you really are referring to U.S. imperialistic war machine. I will not sit here and document every single U.S. intervention in Latin American (or all over the world). Locusts? hahahahah. How I love the racist fascists on Queenscrap lol. Actually, the Europeans who came to the U.S. brought with them communism and anarchism. Many U.S. citizens fought along with them until the "red scare." Now all we do is just watch tv, get fat and stupid.

Why are these people marching in the street messing up motorists and not at the Mayors skyscraper Upper East Side home @ 17 E 79st ?

(not the one in Bermuda)

now that is a protest!

Have no fear Haymarket II is coming over this elitist scumbag.

..It may be at Willets Point if the mayor & friends don’t back off f*cking and stealing from the many little working people.

I doubt the cops when pushed against a wall will protect him.
They will be guarding their own familys sure not his clubhouse.

Maybe Queens residents should take after the NYU students - get active and stop being arm chair activists - trust me, the cops will defend money and property (Bloomberg)

Here is a vid from the NYU protest, the weather was 20* and this was at 2 am! 2 am!

not bad for "elitists" huh?

Make NYU affordable? How about going to CUNY instead? How about they went out not with a bang but with a whimper and nothing has changed?

Good for the hospital workers. At least they want to do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. We will miss them when we are expiring unseen and unattended during the eight hour long waits in the emergency ward.

and the wyckoff community: be prepaired to listen to the politicians when they address you on wyckoff's immanent filing for bankrupcy.

The NYU Students were protesting against Israel at a university run by Jewish Administrators.

You cant protest or report anything anti Isreal or anti immigrint in NY.
The Mayor and his friends are relieing on both those groups and their children to keep them in office forever.
At this point all they need to do is get rid off the pesty hard to control middle class

1-You get called racist and can never get media coverage.
2-Mayor and his lapdog Kelly will send the cops with nightsticks, tazers and gas.

If anything is reported the newspapers will never give up the identity or the address !

Saw the NY1 coverage of Saturday's march from SJQ to MIH and noticed Chris Mastromano was nowhere to be seen. In the military this would be called desertion, but then again treason is a crime as well.

1199 picked up some of the homeless to march, gave them lunch, a shirt and hat. One guy next to me smelled like he did not bathe in months.

So where was the 'community'?

MIA as ususal.
