Abandoned bc the builders forgot the Fedders rectangles. Sad.
They look like Soviet slums
from a real estate ad running n Pravda!
The city will be faced with thousands of such properties. This can be compared to those whom abandoned slum properties years ago. The trick this time is to seize them upon tax or building violation default & auction them off cheaply to those whom can post bonds showing they can financially complete the construction. Bailout money can be used to subsidize a section 8 to fill them with residents. We will soon have a huge homeless population - this will help stem that tide.
Any Pratt study about this? Columbia? Someone? Anyone?
Oh yes, doesn't happen in Brooklyn Heights so its not a problem.
