It’s extremely clear to me that my executive committee would rather stay broke than support Mayor Bloomberg.”

A) Nothing personal, at all. This is all about getting honest, serious government.
B) I would have them first go and purchase some spine. Then, locate their principles. After that, announce those principles to the world, and stand up for them.
C) Take consistent, principled stands on issues and expect the media to trash those stands. Keep plugging until the voting public finally sees that Republicans will take honest, positions that are good for voting taxpayers.

Nice general rhetoric, I agree. But what's your plan of action? As Sean Connery said to Kevin Costner in the "Untouchables", What are you prepared to do? How much shoe leather are you going to wear out while carrying petitions? How many meetings and fundraisers are you going to go to? What office are you going to run for? What are prepared to do?
