Weekend subway problems for Queens

N/Q/R Trains To Be Re-Routed
By: NY1 News

Weekend subway riders who live in Queens are going to have a rough month.

Due to construction, the MTA is re-routing N, Q and R trains to and from Manhattan on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays for four weeks, starting this Saturday.

N trains will not run between Times Square and Astoria.

Q trains will run on the R line, making local stops in Manhattan.

R trains will run along Sixth Avenue instead of Broadway.

Not only that, no Port Washington LIRR between Shea and Woodside.

Happy traveling kids!

Another weekend, and the subways are screwed up in Queens? Nothing new here, same as the last 87 weekends!

There's no N service between Queensboro Plaza and Times Sq. You can take the 7 train from QBP into the city and to Times Sq but you won't be able to go to any of the N stops in between.
