Ever been to the one in Jackson Heights on a weekend morning? Line is out the door into the parking lot. Same demographics in this nabe. They'll do fine. What I don't understand is why the one on Northern Blvd in Little Neck closed.
Oh come on chocolate chip pancakes!!!! mmmm mmm..... Comfort food. It's called International House of "Pancakes". I don't go to McDonalds for italian food.
Who cares about calories if you decide to go there!!! You know what you are getting when you go through their doors... If you don't then oh well... I don't need the city to tell me how many calories I am taking in, only morons do! Like the ones who sue McDonalds because they ate it too much and it made them fat as a house and unhealthy!

I agree, some of that stuff is real tasty. But don't you feel super guilty after consuming all those calories? I went there a couple of weeks ago(in Manhasset) and I felt like the food wasn't even that good and we paid like $30and felt gypped. The pancakes were tasteless, cold and burnt bacon and slow service.
There's way too many overweight people walking around. Actually, I'm kind of glad they're posting calories on menus. I don't order half the stuff I used to.
Why should I feel guilty for enjoying myself once in a while?
True IHOP isn't what it once was and the prices are high but what place isn't! The one I have gone to in Huntington Long Island still makes em good though.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

How did they pick that neighborhood? Hope they have good security.

This place has been almost open for a long time now. Who knows what they're waiting for.

Because the people there understand that breakfast at IHOP's means taking in 3000 calories for breakfast alone and it's just not worth it.
Damn - it's still not open? They were taking applications for employment like a friggin year ago. What's the hold-up?

It's called common sense and moderation.

Buon appetite!
:)
Last time I was leaving the IHOP on Rockaway Blvd., three people walked in the door who literally had to have over half a ton between them.
They probably dine their every day.

They should have opened the IHop on Crossbay Blvd. Especially since the Waterview Diner closed.
Talk about opportunity lost...
Anyway, I guess I might try it, even though THAT neighborhood is like RAT CITY!!! ewwwww......
