Mayor says not to worry about cranes collapsing

The mayor refused to comment on the investigations, but seemed determined to assure New Yorkers.

"I don't think you should start worrying about looking up," Mayor Bloomberg said. "The likelihood of anything happening to you is so small."

Bloomberg said he cannot promise that this will not happen again, but did promise answers. And with so many investigations going on at the same time, those answers are likely to come sooner rather than later.

Mayor Turdberg will try to divert investigators from the slush fund scandal to the crane accident. He always seizes opportunities. Or maybe he'll manage to re-assign the DOI investigators looking into his misuse of city employees to run a miserably failed presidential campaign (while the media looked the other way).

Is it true that the Mattone group
(Queens boys) were partners in the east 52 Street construction job where the first crane collapsed?

Hey. The Commissar was talking on the radio when the crane fell. It didn't hit him, his house or anyone he cares about (a super tiny number of people).

So, he doesn't care.

The two who died are strangers. And not billionaires. So, what is the matter?

Bloomie said, Hey, it's the cost of doing business. So, YOUR death or the destruction of YOUR property is simply the cost of someone else doing business and getting rich.

Well, ok then!
