Under the CSX overpass in Glendale. The intention behind this mural was good. But the location is very, very bad.

CRAPPY ... !
I love your work, am a long time fan, BUT PLEASE to post a the word CRAP after AMERICAN FLAG on this of all days leaves a bad taste , and is a not nice thing in respect to those who have given, please crap cleara your crappy~ Big H.
The point is that people in this city, and possibly in this country don't know how to treat an American flag. How do you paint one underneath a railroad trestle when you know in a few months or years it is going to look like this? This is all about showing people the truth about what's going on out there. The outrage is not that I used certain words to point it out but that this condition exists in the first place. If you don't like my use of the first amendment, move to China.
The American flag has been painted (and re-painted every two years) in that same spot for as far back as I can remember (which is about 1979). It was not until recently that a leak under the tressle caused what you are seeing to happen. It is usually painted over every other Memorial Day, 4th of July or Labor Day. Rather then complaining about the upkeep of a long cherished Glendale tradition maybe you can either help in the repainting or you could call the owner of the railroad to let them know about what the leak under their bridge is doing.
Posting on here is a much more effective way to get things fixed than calling an elected official or a railroad. Look at how fast the Parks Department cleaned up the dumping in Highland Park - same day service!
I predict Serf and Como will buy some paint cans and brushes and roll up their sleeves for a photo op. However, they will pay their bill at Harry's Hardware, unlike Pinky.
There is much more than the neglect of the flag going on at that location. Look at the underside of the railroad bridge and the crumbling concrete at the pillar's base. Look at the surrounding neighborhood and the litter and the grafitti. I grew up in Glendale and people no longer have the self pride to keep their properties clean. They no longer have any respect for others let alone a flag for a country that they don't believe in. Today's immigrant takes from the country but gives nothing back. I am so glad that I got out.

I agree with Crappy on this one. That flag should have never been painted there in the first place.
If this was a real flag, it should be disposed properly.
It shows disrespect by the community to let this look that this.
People, paint it over!

look nitwit, fix the flag. it is a disgrace and its good that crappie brought it to the publics attention.
There's no reason why a flag in this condition should wait 2 years to be repainted. It's disgraceful.
So paint it then. You are American as well are you not?
Your mother is a nitwit.
