In a predominantly "self-centered" society, it's great to see individuals like Christina and her group, who are so community minded and historically concerned. Kudos to all....
It is amazing to see this site saved only by the efforts of a few caring individuals after every elected official and city agency and especially our disgrace of a mayor completely turned their backs on them.
This church will symbolize a giant middle finger pointerd directly at Bloomturd, Gallagher, the Parkside group, the Community Assault Unit and all the others that worked so hard to shit on these people. Fuck you all.
Sacred Sites is working closely with NHS & JPCA on this project and has put up money towards it.

Sure, time and effort. Time and effort.
Cosidering they write grants to cover the FIVE boroughs, and spend ALMOST NOTHING on our borough, 36% of NYC, let them spend money on us for once.
BTW, for the record, the head of the program walked around the site and pointed out details that justified the LPC stupid actions in NOT landmarking it.
They are involved only because someone asked them to. Take a look at how much of their efforts are directed at Queens.
I don't think you want this discusison to continue.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. They are not connected to this website and the opinions presented here do not necessarily represent the positions of these organizations.

Many thanks to Christina
for her tireless efforts
in preserving Upjohn's
historic country masterpiece!
This sets an example for all
to follow.
NEVER GIVE UP HOPE !
"Yogi" said it best,
"It ain't over 'til it's over"!
That is a God damn shame.
A complete failure of the preservation community.
A poster for a group that has lost its way and its teeth.
And thank you Sacred Sites program. After this latest antic you are given fair warning - you are in Crappy's sights.
