Smooth ride to Manhattan mass

More than 1,000 students and teachers from Archbishop Molloy High School will celebrate the institution's 50th anniversary in style next week - taking a private subway from Queens to St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Archbishop Molloy has been a positive institution in NYC for 50 years. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the city providing this small accomadation for the school.

The city is not paying for this. If you read the attached article, the school is paying the fee that the MTA charges for this service. This is probably the most practical way to transport this many people to their destination. It is so much faster and more environemntally friendly than hiring enough buses to do this. I hope they have a well deserved great day.
