To Ken: Yeah, the second-floor window on the right has bars on it to keep the kids from using the awnings as a slide and messing up the nifty paint job! :D
hee, hee :) But you know, Dave, in the words of our health conscious mayor, every kid in the city will soon have a playground within walking distance of their home, making makeshift slides of such sort unnecessary, at which point the owners of this blue abode will hopefully be inclined to take down that awful awning.

I don't think it's all that horrible. From what I can see the building off to the right looks worse.
