Busy as usual

Do nothing Councilman Dennis Gallagher has cleared his schedule so he can devote his time to his rape defense (and lobbying for the St. Saviour's developers). The Times Ledger wrote this in an editorial on 9/27:

"Unless it becomes clear that the burden of the charges alone is preventing him from serving the community - and that has yet to be demonstrated - then the decision to retain his seat on the Council is his and his alone."

Maybe they need to do a follow up on this. Especially now that he can't take ads out in their paper anymore.

Thank you Queens Crapper, for bringing this to light. Dennis Gallagher has been shirking his responsibility as our councilman and this is proof in black and white. He's even admitting as much. He says you either hacked into his computer or went through his trash, which means this info is authentic. Bravo for revealing just how low he is. Traitors always end up revealing themselves.

What a scumbag. Taking days off on our dime!

How does this prove anything?

Are you going to tell me that everybody here puts "go to work/office" everyday in their day planners?

NOT!!

Actually it makes perfect sense that he is putting only special events onto his calendar.

The Times Ledger and most weekly newspapers kiss up to this councilman dirtbag because he advertises in their rags. Shame on them. They defend this sexual predator.

What a loser. At least I never voted for the prick!

Take a look at this. Where are all these meetings on his agenda? These happen weekly!

And if the excuse is that he is no longer on committees, well he plans to be declared not guilty, so wouldn't he like to keep himself abreast of what's going on? Shouldn't he be at these meetings?

What the hell does he do all day? He was absent in our community during the flooding, hasn't said a peep about the cell tower in Maspeth or the Huang House, there are still too many trucks on Grand, speeders at Juniper Park, break ins on Metro and Grand, etc. He should be making meetings with city agencies to take care of these things instead of pressuring city planning to develop St. Saviour's. Why aren't these things on his agenda? Are they not important to him?

The answer is that he doesn't get money from lobbyists to take care of these things, only to ensure that they continue.

Why not make appointments with regular folk in the community who have contacted him with problems? Or does access to him come with a price tag?

So when is HDC going to demand that he return their preservation award?
