Flushing Avenue corner crap

This corner lot at 61st Street and Flushing Avenue in Maspeth was formerly used for parking cars & trucks. Now it features a piece of Queens Crap that gets more interesting with each passing week. There appear to be storefronts at ground level, but no windows or doors on the 61st Street side. Despite this, "58-05 61 STREET WILL BE MAILING ADDRESS." The second and third floors contain balconies which don't match each other in either design or color. Then there's the striped earth-tone stucco contrasting with shiny brown brick! The plans call for 2 dwelling units above the stores, but it looks like there may be a few more than that.

I have been reading Queens crap for quite a while now and it is quite interesting to hear people voice their opposition to these buildings or "crap" which I agree with wholeheartedly. But the one thing that I have noticed is that people dont necessarily call out "the developer" by name unless its a Korean guy from Flushing.
We all grew up in Queens and we all know who 75% of these developers are.
If you really want to stop this, dont vote for the politicians that are in their pocket, dont use the buisnesses that they own, dont show respect (or fear) when around them and dont let them assume that this is OK.
It's your neigborhood so dont blame them for doing this, blame yourself for letting them get away with it.

It kind of reminds me of a swirl cone, or a box of neapolitan ice cream with the strawberry having already been eaten. Damn, where is Mr. Softee?

The back view looks like a staircase from a Red Roof Inn.

CRAPILICIOUS!
