Mansard Roof A roof which rises by inclined planes from all four sides of a building. The sloping roofs on all four sides have two pitches, the lower pitch usually very steep and the upper pitch less steep.
Well since its got a fancy name attached to it I guess these roofs must be okay, then, but as to the buildings themselves anon #1 hit the nail on the head.
I noticed alot of property owners making their own "driveways" in front of their homes where there is none, taking way spots on the street from their neighbors. How come they don't get ticketed for this?
The car is an extension of our American Identity. Anxiety sells us as much as possible. Bigger and more make us feel like we exist more totally Check out this bit of unintended honesty on Skillman Ave (I bet he commutes from the burbs). http://todayeye.wordpress.com/2007/04/29/truck-tosterone/
Ugly homes, ugly cars: demonstrates that people who buy them just have genuine bad taste. Bet they wear mismatched clothes too like Howard Cosell used to.

My solution- ban the Hummer for civilian use. This tank/SUV is too f'n big for urban use. It belongs in the deserts of Iraq, not on a Queens driveway.
It reminds me of the Leonard v. Pepsico lawsuit, where a wealthy idiot tried to purchase a Harrier jet with his Pepsi points.
The "attached houses" on the second picture are appalling.
weird, too. The windows are sort of stuck on the roofs of the buildings.
You mean you don't find a mansard roof appropriate in this situation?
unfamiliar with the term I had to look it up:

The SUV and Hummer are perfect for coarse third world types whose cultures are based on muscle and coarse public displays of wealth and power.
To say nothing about shitty roads.
Can somebody point out the Hummer in these two pictures. I don't see one.

Hey, we need to keep the crime stats falling.
It seems anything regulating the construction and real estate industry has tons of laws.
They are ignored.
Yet city council still passes more of 'em.

Hey if you're dumb enough to spend
about 60 Gs for a gas guzzling ego trip.....
then the Hummer is for you !
I have a correlation theory:
The bigger the vehicle.....
the smaller the guy's pee pee !
