At the corner of Fleet and Alderton Streets in Rego Park in the heart of the Katz litterbox, no matter which way you turn, you'll find a big pile of crap:
The Olympics may not have been able to build their 2012 village in LIC, but Queens Crap villages continue to sprout up all over the place.
Honey, we ain't in the crescents no more. Please plant more street trees here, pronto!

at least these have lawns. I'll give them that much.
The houses in the 2nd, 3rd and last pictures are pretty nice. They have their own parking and look good - better than the boring brick rowhouses on Fleet Street that are next to them. The houses in the other pictures are run-of-the-mill boring.

Yes, especially if you like illegal basement apartments.
Yeah I was going to say that about the lawns too....plus street trees and small plantings. They look fine.
I really don't see anything wrong with this. I've seen much worse. This actually looks pretty good.
About the last photo, it's nice how the developer put the driveway next to the hydrant, instead of on the right of the tree. Not only was a parking spot saved, but the residents have their own parking.
You could always find nicer housing but I don't know whats so bad about this.
