The city may have grandiose plans for the run-down Willets Point section of Flushing, but local businessmen say no one is talking to them about relocation.
City's Not Talking To Us, Willets Point Owners Say
"Look, we don't like the junkyards either," [Dan Scully, vice president of Tully Environmental] said. "They are an eyesore, but we are a legitimate business that has been paying taxes for years," Scully said.
Why should they talk to you because you pay taxes? You're no one important. Become a developer, pal. It will open up a whole new world of opportunities to you.

Look at the condition of that street. It's disgraceful that the city would leave it that way.

Get these criminals out, the sooner the better.
It looks that way because they have no sewers. It's not their doing.
Duh....I hope they put Dirctor Claire ("past it") Shulman's new office in da middle uv da street !
The old bag !
And I hope her toilet backs up !
That photo is great! It shows just how much Claire Shulman took care of that "valuable" area.
I attended a meeting about Wellington Chen's proposal for the Willets Point area. It was at the Flushing Library about 6-7 years ago. When Dan Scully and others walked in, Claire Shulman (still borough president) had a shit-fit. She stopped the meeting and demanded Scully and other property owners to leave.
The fix was in a LONG time ago boys! Wellington is getting his way. He's taking your property.
H-m-m-m.....so the Little Duke of "Wellington"....victorious at Willets Point ?
Its time to bounce that Bovine bitch (Shulman) from her new job !
Just when we thought that we were seeing the last of that dullard of a Queen's house-frau .....somebody gives her a "golden parachute"..... a director's position as a reward for her years of "servicing" (in the animal husbandry sense) her constituents !!!!!
