COMPTROL BID
By FRANKIE EDOZIEN, NY Post
June 20, 2007 -- City Councilwoman Melinda Katz is campaigning to become the city's next comptroller.
The Queens Democrat has launched a campaign Web site, melindakatz.org, and held a $1,000-a-head fund-raiser Monday night.
She is likely to face a primary challenge from fellow Queens Democrat David Weprin.
But we knew that already

Katz's web site logo should be a worm crawling out of a rotten Big Apple !
H-m-m-m.....first the NYC real estate/building industry controls her......now she's looking to control NYC's pocketbook !
This can only happen in a "democracy" or is it demon-ocracy !!!
But what a success story in the truly American tradition (if she gets elected comptroller) from courtesan to madam of a real estate CAT HOUSE.....her own KATZ HOUSE.....so to speak !
What a pair she's got....even as a woman !!!
Are the Republicans going to honor the treaty with Democrats to put up no opponent at all, or put up some throwaway contender?
Hey Ragusa?
No, Gallagher is not the answer!
Nota Bene:
From her website's "Contribute by Mail"...Quote:
"Please have all GENEROUS [sic] contributions sent to:..."
I wanna join the "MK Club" [I kid you not!]...Is that like the Mickey Mouse Club?...Let's all sing the ditty kiddies:
"M-E-L ...Burn in Hell!...
I-N-D"...Jump in front of the F train!...
A-K-A-T-Z!...Melinda Katz...Melinda Katz...Developers raise their wallets high and wide...M-E-L-I-N-D-A-K-A-T-Z"
Typical Queens politician.
A friendly press that copies their press releases, above any criticism as their communities rot around them, eyes on the higher prise.
has maltese endorsed her yet.now there is a man running for his political life.i hope that his chief of staff is better at getting votes out then running a ice cream palor.
Melinda Katz's Curriculum Vitae
