Here we have the typical scenario...an oversized corner lot containing two 2 family houses (with a barn) were replaced with sprawling megacrap. This is the infamous
Henry Fabian at work again.
Take a look at how long the buildings are and how short the yards are. The corner house doesn't seem to have a yard at all. The small house to the east of all this was recently demolished and the lot subdivided; no doubt to make room for more Queens Crap.

The kids in front look like they are trying to play in a concrete sliver of yard. How sad.
Look at the parking ramps where the front yards are supposed to be. I HATE those things. They take up needed street parking and most of the time they either aren't used or they can't be used because they are too steep. In my opinion they have ruined a lot of Middle Village, along with Dennis Gallagher.
Take a look at the bottom photo. See the vehicle blocking the sidewalk? I, too, hate those inclined driveways. All they are is an invitation for selfish assholes to block pedestrian traffic because they are too lazy to pull their cars down the incline. These types of driveways should be eliminated completely.
Henry Fabian is notorious for building crap like this. The sad thing is that he actually craps in the same neighborhood where he lives. He must think these buildings are just beautiful. Or maybe he is just seeing them through green-colored glasses.
I don't look at it that way. Henry Fabian is a businessman, and if any of us were in this line of work, we'd be looking to maximize our profits and minimizing our costs. I blame this on the city administrations who allow this to continue, and our local councilman, Pinky, for not pushing hard enough for our rezoning to go through and for failing to introduce legislation that would stop this all together. Oh yeah, the condition of newsracks is an important issue! That's why we elected you, you pink pile of shit.

The truth is that this guy would sell his own mother for a buck. The guy cares nothing about the neighborhood and everything about making an extra buck.

Are you kidding me? Blame this all on the administration? They should only be responsible when the voters stand up, all for one, one for all and complain and then not do anything about it. Not all of them are that irresponsible. When do the contractors take responsibility? When does anyone take responsibility for that matter. Everyone wants to blame everyone else for the state of affairs but no one looks at what they are personally doing...
Just because he's a businessman means he should not have any community responsibilty? That's like suing GM for sustaining injuries in a car accident for not wearing their seatbelt and saying GM didn't put a warning on the dashboard.
IT'S ALL COMMON SENSE AND DECENCY!!!
Damn I can't stand it when no one takes responsibility!!!!!!!

Russell I think I love you. Please see my ad in the Queens Tribune.
George you are getting quite boring and you never phoned so I guess I'm through with you.
A Trixie came home from a date, rather sad. She told her mother, "George proposed to me an hour ago."
"Then why are you so sad?" her mother asked.
"Because he also told me he is an atheist. Mom, he doesn't even believe there's a Hell."
Trixie's mother replied, "Marry him anyway. Between the two of us, we'll show him how wrong he is."
look for a connection between Gallagher and Fabian.
