I have watched the Mets play since 1962 when my Dad drove us to the Polo Grounds. I hate to be negative but I feel very let down by the decreased seating capacity of the new stadium. "Our self-serving politicos" will find it much easier to get seats than you or I. If I can find a seat in the new complex, will I be able to afford it? I will be resigned to watch games on TV. It's a good thing that I can still afford cable!

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

She IS a Mets fan!!
Although I lived in the Bronx and moved to Queens at the age of 13, I was never a Yankee fan. I rooted for the original New York Giants.
When Queens got the Mets (even though they first played like crap) I became a Mets fan.
Loyalty to your borough's team is what it's all about.
Some of our self-serving politicos should take a lesson from this!

Kick butt Bombers!
The 12th photo of Spring is actually from 1996. What's the deal QC?
No, the photo was taken last season.
If you can't be an athlete, you can always be an athletic supporter.
Goodbye Shea, hello Citi. Will the QC be able to afford things at the Mets' new digs in 2009?
Same deal for me over at Steinbrenner's new Yankee palace where crappy pitcher Carl Pavano will be your opening day starter.
