An awful lot of Queens ends up under water in the above simulation of a storm surge. Maybe we shouldn't be building towers along the waterfront. Ah, what's to worry about? Disasters never happen in NYC...
Gothamist has a static map that you may also find interesting.

I think I'd rather be in a higher-rise tower than a wood frame, one family home, if the water comes to the front door.
So you won't heed the warnings and will stay? When the time comes, how will you get out of that tower? Everyone else will already have evacuated and you'll be stuck with no plumbing, power, food. Good luck, moron.
the sky is falling, the sky is falling!
Don't you worry about those maps, Chicken Little. Just let me show you the beautiful features of my sparkly new towers on the shore...
Imagine what will happen to the shoddy fedders crap houses in a major hurricane wind? Good for those of us who despise these buildings, but very bad for the people warehoused inside.
Hey you Foxy Woxy, I think I love you. Do you read the Queens Tribune? Look for my ad.
When the sewers back up you can always assemble a "crap raft" and improvise some oars for a swift escape!
