Woodside Wedge

Yes ladies and gentlemen, we absolutely must squeeze as many people as we possibly can into every single bit of space that we have in this borough. Space is at a premium!

This Fedders finery is located on Woodside Avenue and is wedged between another ugly building and an LIRR bridge just south of Woodside Station at 62nd Street. If the groundhog came out and saw this he would definitely run back in and hide!

Somebody ought to give the architect (if there is one) who designed this one a "wedgie"!

You have got to be kidding.

Anyone want to write a letter to the newspapers asking where was Gioia and Conley and the usual suspects when this was going up?

That's it guys, lets encourge the neighbors for these crap to write to their community board, their officials, and yes, their ink-stained friends in the newspaper trade.

Then let ol Crappie know of their (lack) of response!!

I remember when that building first went up. I thought to myself, "You've got to be kidding!"

As far as I know, a few people have attempted to live in it for very short periods of time. But I always see the 'For Rent' or 'For Sale' sign up, and the windows showing vacant rooms. How could anyone possibly thought this was a good idea, or that they'd even make money from it??
