QC in the QL

Queens Crap has gotten it's first official mention in the press!

Katz & Developers a Purr-fect Match?

I wonder which politician wants to say "F*#% you!" when she reads their paper?

And for the record, Councilman Avella did not say Katz was the most corrupt, he said she 86'ed council funds which were meant to hire additional staff at the Department of City Planning.

(Queens Crap has no problem using the word "corrupt" in the same sentence with "Melinda Katz," however.)

This is an open communication to the "Queens Ledger" (and any of the other "local rags" that are, obviously now taking notice of "Queens Crap") . There's nothing "cheap" about those Melinda Katz comments in this blog site! The only thing that's "cheap" are politicos like Ms. Katz! It appears that she may have been "canoodling" with the "Who's Who" of the N.Y.C. building & real estate industry, (you can check out, on-line, her long list of campaign contributions from them) long before it was suggested (publicly in "the press") that she had been "canoodling" with that recently resigned crook Allan Hevesi! (Mind you, I don't care what anyone does with their "private parts" only what they do with "public funds"!) Katz has been all over her constituents like a cheap suit for too many years now. God bless term limits! Hey, if "you guys" at the Queens Ledger (etc.) can't take the " heat" or listen to the truthful speaking that this blog is generating....go peddle your "papers" elswhere. At least a copy of the old Sears Roebuck & Co. catalogue made good "bathroom tissue"! P.S. Tell your "reporters to get a better education before they even try to write their names!........VERDI

Oh boy, the old school paper and ink boys have a new boy in town.

Well, I think the landscape is permanently changed and they don't like it.

Tough. Now the people have a voice.

This is typical of the local press that Queens Crap was step up to expose.

Thank you Queens Ledger for the publicity, and to writing something that dovetails nicely with what some of the posters on this site claim is true to form in the local media.

You mean to tell me that all those useless ads the politicians take out for every holiday from St. Valentine's Day to St. Swithin's Day actually has some effect on the way the local papers report on them? Next you'll tell me they are pro-development because of all the real estate ads in the classifieds...

Good and damning points.

Maybe we should insist every prodevelopment rant and softball pitch to a politicians in the press should have a disclaimer to that effect.

The paper needs to print a retraction for misquoting Tony Avella. He didn't even come close to saying what they attributed to him. How blatantly irresponsible.

As far as the Avella & Katz situation goes: Tony has a proven track record in always supporting his constituents, especially when it comes to overdevelopment in our borough. When it comes to Melinda, on this same issue, you can expect better support from a "jock strap"!
